Neil Yeoh

Neil is a Portfolio Manager at Echoing Green, managing 32 entrepreneurs and their start-ups tackling climate change. He is a Global Shaper and a Forbes Contributor focused on elevating climate change solutions and social entrepreneurs. Prior to Echoing Green, Neil was a management consultant with 5+ years of strategy and operations experience in international development firms - Dalberg and Social Ventures Australia and corporate firms - Accenture and KPMG. Neil has successfully delivered projects with clients across multiple sectors – including energy, government, utilities, finance, agriculture, and information technology.

Neil graduated on the Dean’s list and with Distinction from an MBA at the University of Oxford where he was also elected as a Skoll World Forum Fellow and the Energy, Environment and Resources Oxford Business Network Chair. He has a triple degree in Mechatronic Engineering (1st Class Honours), International Business, and Management from the University of Adelaide and the University of Hong Kong.

Bolor-Erdene Tumurchudur

Bolor constantly challenges herself with new areas of focus on her work and life. Her work experience ranges from procurement to marketing, to supply chain management to sales and contract management. She graduated from Baikal National University of Economics and Law in Russia 2007. She has been an active Rotaractor since 2009, Rotary foundation GSE program alumni, charter secretary of Rotary club of Ulaanbaatar Peace Avenue. She is currently based in New York pursuing a Master's in Environmental Science and Policy at Columbia University in New York.

Sam Bowstead

Sam is passionate about using design, design thinking and design advocacy to create a better built and natural environment. Originally from Brisbane, Australia he now works in New York. Sam has been a project employee of Emergency Architects Australia, including coordinating a response to the 2011 Queensland floods and has 7 years experience practicing architecture at James Davidson Architect. He currently maintains a research appointment at The University of Queensland on resilience and planning policy. Recently, he has been project managing SEQ Waterfutures- an initiative promoting collaborative planning and regulatory reform towards resilience in the state of Queensland. He has a background in design thinking and facilitation, having run workshops in Australia, the USA, Indonesia, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Sam graduated as the top Master of Architecture student in Queensland, winning five of nine graduate prizes including the Australian Institute of Architects' QIA medallion. He has studied at The University of Queensland, Technische Universitat Berlin, University of British Columbia and University of California, Berkeley.

Risalat Khan

Risalat Khan is a social justice activist and intrapreneur from Bangladesh passionate about addressing climate change, biodiversity loss, and other planetary-scale sustainability challenges. He was recognized by The Guardian as one of the “young climate campaigners to watch” (2015). As a campaigner with the global civic movement Avaaz (2014-2017), Risalat was part of a small core team that spearheaded the largest global climate marches in history with a combined turnout of 800,000 people worldwide in over 2,000 cities. Currently, he’s pursuing a Masters of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy at Columbia University.

Adam Bernstein

Adam is an ESG / Impact Analyst for Gitterman Wealth Management LLC.  He is a core member of the firm’s SMART(Sustainability Metrics Applied to Risk Tolerance)™ Investing and Portfolio Services team, which offers clients and financial advisors investment and research solutions in the Sustainable, Impact, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) arenas.

Adam is also a Board Member of the Sustainability Investment Leadership Conference (SILC), which works with corporations, investment, accounting, and law firms on how to integrate sustainability into their overall growth strategies.  He began his career at Merrill Lynch’s Global Wealth and Investment Management Division and Alliance Bernstein’s Thematic Portfolio Desk.  

Adam is a graduate of Elon University, where he competed in Division I athletics in both Track and Cross Country.  While at Elon Adam received a CFA Institute recognition scholarship, and holds a BSBA in finance.

Kevin Fertig

Kevin is a young French-American sustainability professional driven by a love of collaboration and a passion for CSR and corporate sustainability. He seeks to align business and environmental interests by identifying opportunities with both strong financial and environmental returns that align with organizations' existing missions. He currently works as a sustainability consultant, helping companies of all sizes measure their environmental impacts and communicate them to internal and external stakeholders. His ultimate goal is to cut carbon emissions at scale, and help organizations in all sectors through the transition toward a greener economy. 

He recently graduated from an intensive dual-degree program at Columbia SIPA (MPA in Environmental Science & Policy) and Columbia School of Professional Studies (Certificate in Sustainability Analytics, Sustainability Management Program), where his studies focused on corporate sustainability strategy, green finance, supply chain management and GHG accounting. He also holds a B.A. magna cum laude in International Relations and Spanish & Latin American Studies from Duke University.

Kate Hayes

Director, Echoing Green

Kate Hayes is a Director at Echoing Green, whose mission is to unleash next generation talent to solve the world’s biggest problems. She is currently leading Echoing Green’s newest program, Direct Impact, which is designed to prepare high-potential mid-level corporate leaders for nonprofit board service through an experiential leadership program. Prior to joining Echoing Green, Kate worked in the national office of Minds Matter, an academic mentoring organization whose mission is to prepare high-potential youth from low-income families for college success. Kate graduated with a degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University.

Maria Wang-Faulkner

Strategic Partner Manager, Google

Maria is a strategist and entrepreneur working at the intersection of human development, business, and technology. She works at Google with the world's top news publishers to build strategic revenue-generating partnerships, and also with IDEO U, as a teaching assistant for their online courses on design thinking and innovation methodologies. She has founded three early-stage startups since catching the startup bug after being selected to participate in the Ignite program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Maria is a Curator of the World Economic Forum New York Global Shapers. She has travelled to over 45 countries, and speaks four languages.
